Shooting into the shadow side of her face, you have lost all facial modeling and catchlights that give life to the eyes. The background, while out of focus, tends to be a bit distracting. When you do a close-up shot such as this, you need to pay particular attention to fine details such as wisps of hair that you'll need to clone out later. You are on the right rack---just keep at it. Your reflection shot was very nice!
