Hi rein:
While in one hand I like the way you framed the landscape in the other hand I think you gone to far with the post processing making it seems unreal, but maybe that was your intention. Just my thoughts.
Thanks for sharing it!

I really like the first one. The second one is just "Oh it's just another picture of a lake, but the first one is like "WOW!!" But thats just me.

I'm torn. The intensity of the first picture is really great... but it does seem unreal. Almost as if it's a composite of more than one picture. See how the light looks on the lake? It seems like it came from something else - those dark clouds don't seem to have enough light coming through them for that to be believable.

But, like I said - I'm torn. I like the first one much better than the second. In the second one, I think maybe it's the textures that bother me. I really don't know. Fluffy (clouds), smooth (hill) and choppy (water)... with no intensity tying them together. I think that's why I'm drawn more toward the first pic.

lol - Sorry if I'm not much help! I do like your pictures, though!

The first really pops the light from the clouds and water - maybe a little much. The second takes the darkness out of the landscape and lighter areas in the clouds are a bit washed out. I think there's a happier medium to be found between the two.
