Default It's terribly lonely here.

I took this several months ago, but never opened it for some reason.
This was probably the coolest sky I'd ever seen so I grabbed the camera and literally ran up this giant hill to grab some shots.
Was interested in hearing any thoughts about is. I think Flickr may have softened and brightened it a little bit, as when I was looking at the histogram is PS I pushed the darks to around 10-15 RGB, so it's pretty dark. But other than that...
There are no goodbyes

I like it... nice work! I think the composition and positioning of the tree is good, leaving most of the room for the sky...

Absolutely fantastic B&W! The sky is intense and the adjustments you made are perfect...
I don't think it looks soft at all however I havent zoomed in on it or examined it too closely. I do think its one of the best B&W's Ive seen here and there have been some real good ones!
Thanks for sharing...I'm a huge fan of B&W but dont get many i like from my own camera so I really enjoy seeing others who get it just right.

A most amazing shot. Very good. Did you get more than one shot? Maybe with the tree in a different position?

Very nice. As you note, a little dark but the contrasting textures more than compensate.

You should be proud of this one, take it to the framer and keep it on your wall for all to see.
