Hi everyone, this is my second C&C shot. I took it at the Big E a couple months ago and found I like it. But was wondering about other peoples thoughts on it.

I like it. Its got a gritty feel, that fits perfectly with the subject. I'd prefer the wool to the left to be more in focus but other than that, it's an excellent shot. Good lighting, good color, exposure, etc. Nice shot, thanks for sharing.

What bahgheera said. Great shot, but the focus is off on the animal. With some a nice texture to the coat, it would be nice to see the detail in there.

I think i would have had to lower the fstop to get better to DOF. I wish I had taken more photos when I took this shot, but I was surprised that it actually turned out well.

A little bit of fill flash would have helped by adding a catch light to the eyes and brightening it up a tad. Might have needed to use a snoot or grid on it so not too much of the railing would get flashed.

Edit: I just noticed you were at ISO 200. If you had bumped it up to ISO 400 or more you would be able to get either a faster shutter speed or a smaller aperture (provided you lens could go lower).
