Well, after some time without posting (had personal things to do), I'm now at my girlfriend's place and had some time to go out and get some photographs. This cathedral is located in Durango, Mexico. There's a story (long one) about a nun (the "ghost") that appears in the left tower when the sun goes down. It's a pretty nice place to visit and take nice pictures. Here is the one that I liked most. Hope you like it and as always, comments and critiques are welcome.
P.S. You can view more photos on my Flickr account! =)

In my humble opinion the front of the building is too bright. It seems to draw my eyes more towards that instead fo the building. Any chanve of maybe cloning out the wire that runs right in front of it?

Thanks for your comments windrider86. I think too that the lights at the bottom can distract but cloning the bottom would be too difficult to me. I had this other photo that has less cars passing through resulting in less light wires. Hope you like it! Thanks again!

I think windrider meant the actual dark wire about a third of the way up?
I prefer the first photo as it's a very dramatic presentation...makes the cathedral seem very large. But it's too tightly cropped on the left and the top. Also, the lights from the cars seem badly blown out and it distracts from the photo. This might be due to some post work?

![]() I hope you dont mind but I went ahead and did some slight editing for you. I cropped it down to take out the realy bright areas on the bottom and then to clone I out my cloning tool to about 10 and then right clicking to match the areas just underneath the power line and then went accross the power line to make it go away. I also did the same with the loghts at the very bottom. But I almost think it could have been cropped even tighter to get rid of the fence at the bottom. But the big question is, What do you think? The second picture also has the same problem as the first. Too much foreground. I like them both and they both have a lot of potential

Nice job you did windrider86. I thought when you said wire you mean it was the light of the cars that due to long exposure left a light behind. The job you did on Photoshop is great, removing the power lines and the lights. Also the cropp you did removes the distracting lights of the car letting the cathedral alone. I think I'll try to repeat your steps to get the same photo and print it later. Thanks again for your comments and help! =)
Robin Sarac: Thanks for your comments. I also prefer the first photo (now I prefer the one edited by windrider86) because as you said, it has more dramatic aspect. By your questions, I only added some contrast to the photo on Photoshop. Everything else is straight out from the camera.

Sorry Windrider but I prefer the original image (after 5 minutes flicking back and forth between the two, don't you just love tabbed browsing).
It sets the building in it's space and I don't mind the car lights at the bottom. Chacun à son goût as H C-B would say, eh?
