maverick, Welcome

Sometimes the subject can outweigh the "thirds" positioning guideline. Other aspects, such as his gaze, nice OOF background and overall sharpness and color quality make this a good shot. He has room to "look into," so having his face generally at the upper-third line is good. You could crop at left to the chair to remove the wall, which has no real purpose, and bottom to remove sliver of sleeve, putting him even closer to the vertical third. Well done, as is, too.

nice shot...I like the DOF. Colors are interesting I would crop from bottom and left getting rid of wall like jiminy said and maybe even crop off the chair totally to get a closer look at the subject.....I think colors are enough that it will be a very interesting shot and keep attention on the subject even without as much background and surrounding areas.

maybe I am the only one that thinks this but...I think the people in the bckgrnd are a tad distracting...maybe it's the guy standing in the back
that's throwing me off...it's not like the backgnd adjacent to his head.
other then that I think it's a nice photograph.

thanks guys for the comments and advice...
i know the people in the background was somewhat distracting... but that was the reason why my subject took my attention... it was taken in a fish market where everybody were so busy, and he was just there sitting and looking somewhere.. he doesn't mind people passing by.

Good DOF I don't find the people distracting at all...the DOF is good to blur the people out..but it's a busy place so they add to the shot.

Good "snap"
