Default Early Morning View 2

What do you all think of this shot compared to the other Early Morning shot I posted?

Thanks for your comments.

rlarsen,

'Tis better. As in portraits, sometimes turning the subject a little adds an interesting dimension. The first one might be a "mug shot," and this one is a better portrait. You might get it to lighten up a little with an edit, just the building and landscaping. Forgot to ask, what building is this?

I think this image is more intresting to look at from a compostion standpoint then the last image you submitted. The grass leads your eye to the building following up the spire or tower if that's what that call it. I think a small curve adjustment will help level the tones out in the image and enhance the leading lines in this image. Your grass and the building are to darkish grey the sky is nice however.

What program are you using to edit your digital photos?

Jiminy - judging by the figure up top, I think this is a L.D.S. (Latter Day Saints) temple. I'm not sure where it is, though.

rlarsen - I agree with what was said earlier. This is better than the first shot with an interesting angle/composition and the sky looks terrific. However, the building and landscaping could still use some lightening to add a bit of life.

aadam_21,

Thanks, was thinking State or Federal facility, given the size and design.

rlarsen,

Have you telephoto-ed the sculpture on the spire?

Thanks for your comments. Yes, aadam_21 it is an LDS temple, in American Fork, Utah. I use Picasa2 to do some editing on my pictures.
No Jiminy- I have not telephoto-ed the Sire. I will make a note to shoot it next time I go up there.

Thanks Have a good day.
