I took this just before the night was over at our county fair.

Just for the nostalgia factor, this is a touching photo. Given the title, I'd say the darkness is allowable, adding to a mood. Even the soft focus gives a misty memory feeling to it. Well done, for what may be considered "errors."

@campc07 - As JiminyClickIt said... it creates mood. I get a feeling of hmm like something is over.. kinda dead feeling looking at the horses... not saying that its a bad pic at all. I guess I am trying to describe my impression I got when I saw the pic. I wonder how it would appeal if there was a little motion blurr .. something to try out may be...
