Mountain Creek in the Fall

Hello all --

Just putting this picture out there for some critique.

I took this picture with my Sony DSC H7 Camera with f/3.5, 25 shutter and 200ISO.

This is the Morse Creek near about 10 miles from Idaho City, Idaho.

The sky is blown out in this image and there is not much detail or intrest the photo. Perhaps try to get down closer to the water to get more detail and try some different angles to create some intrest.

on the shot would have created more interest. If you stood more to the right or the left so that the stream is not flowing straight at you. That's my newbie thoughts.

high contrast scenes like this one are next to impossible to shoot....something always gets blown or let in the dark.....

it looks like it was a beautiful spot though....
