cool effect! how are you liking the lens babies?
I never thought I would care for them but after seeing alot of shots taken with them i think thy could really put a creative twist on some shots.

It's a challenge to use but I've gotten some pretty cool shots with it. It's more of a fun little toy I mess around with when I'm tired of composing shots. It's fun to throw the lens baby on and just go crazy.

If you remove the apature disk inside the lens you can get an insanely fast lens probably around F 1.4 or F 1.2 but its a lens baby so of course the images are going to be soft and fuzzy but its a joy to use in bar envrioments people thing it's pretty crazy looksl ike an elephant trunk

I have a couple more purchases I need before the toys like a bigger bag and good flash unit. After that I'll think about the toys...lol!
Have fun with it.....sometimes its nice to just play around instead of taking the hobby so serious.

Can the lens baby be manipulated to handle perspective control in any way such as shooting a house or building where the side want to keystone as they converge?

Not really, it's very hard to hold the lens baby in one postion and press the shutter at the same time. You may have better luck with the Lens Baby 3g the one where screws are attached to it so you can find tune it but it's still going to be limited a tilt shift lens would be a better choice but you can correct presetive but pertty limited in it's application.
