Default Beach Babysitter

This is a shot I caught walking the pier in Santa Cruz.....thought it was pretty funny and just imagined the parents getting up and walking away for lunch.
I know warped since of humor....

Hi pinball. This made it to page 10 with 74 views and not a single comment. I think it is a cute shot that captures a slice of family life. While it may not be on par with a Norman Rockwell cover illustration, you deserve credit and mention for having a keen eye to capture this everyday shot. It may work better with some closer cropping.

you know Lee when i posted it I really thought I shouldn't. To me its out of focus not very interesting and a bit too much like a "vacation shot" When I took it I saw the event and immediately got an image of them finishing burying the child to the neck, geting up, and then saying "okay son we'll be back in little bit" And got the idea of a beach babysitter.
I know kind of demented sense of humor....thats me. I think it should have just been in the share your shots thread but I always forget about that thread..lol!
Thanks for commenting an thanks for going through looking for the ones where no one has made any comment. I'm sure its discouraging for new membersto post and get absolutely no reaction.

xxpinballxx,

Few slip by me, but this one did. I remember someone saying earlier this year that 'no comment' is also a Critique: either the photo is so good that everyone is blown away and can't think of a single way to improve upon it, or it's time to re-examine your subject choices and how you compose. To that, add mood of the membership, number of posts that day, position of the planets, etc.

Occurs to me that showing the expression of the kid might personalize and add a cute factor that would get noticed and commented on. But then, who knows?

Warped sense of humor or cheap daycare????

I vote cheap daycare! J/K Duct tape and rope to strap them to their beds when I leave the house works better, can be done in any kind of weather.
