Wow! the majestic Royal Bengal tiger looks very nice with the backlight. I liked the DOF also. If you do post processing, I can suggest you to darken it a bit to bring out the natural colour and crop a bit from the left to make the face the only part visible.

It's been a long time since I've been to Marwell. This is a great shot. Is it taken through glass? (I seem to remember that the viewing for the tigers is through glass). If so it is really well done.

Thanks for your kind words.

It was taken through glass with a sigma 50-500 lens on a Canon EOS 350D. The tiger was just woken up by the water fountain coming on. Before that he was fast asleep and rather boring
