Rosary

My friend asked me to photograph his grandmother's rosary for a class project. This is what I got:

The depth of field could be a bit deeper to get more of the crucifix in focus - your aperture was f/5.6 so perhaps f/8 would have done. Otherwise, I think it is a good picture and makes a good illustration.

The Rosary would be simply presented if draped over backs of fingers, uncomplicating background. Could be shown larger that way, too. Just a thought.

Jiminy has a good point. It may be more meaningful if photographed as if it were in use.

Hi!, nice shot. Nice depth of field, however I think the highligths of the fingers are a bit distracting, sometime its usefull to use a bouncer for the flash so you'll get more softer ligth around you object.. just a thougth. (Srry for my english)
