Odd Looking Fall Tree

I've shot this one a few times. I has a really odd shape. Looks neat during the Fall. I haven't had a chance to do much processing. I need to get rid of that "thing" that's barging in on the left of the frame for sure. Thoughts?

In my effort to catch all the shots that have had many views but no comments, I think this shows a nice contrast of color between the tree and the sky as well as some good shadow tones on the ground. Cropped a little close but I can see what you are talking about with a bit of color creeping in from the left. Have you tried a lower angle to possible minimize some of the distractions in the background?
