What were your camera settings on this photo? The head seems a bit OOF or is that motion blur? Anyways it looks like to me that your camera was focused on the back of the chipmonk.

Compositionally... it seems a little too tight. I would give a little more room both infront of the chipmonk and above his tail.

Unfortunately, I think the focus is in the wrong place. The chipmunk is blurry while the grass at the top of the frame is sharp.

Has this been cropped down from a larger shot? If so, it might be worth including a bit more of the background. That is the opposite of what I normally advise but would make the blurriness of the chipmunk less obvious and also allow a bit more space on the left of the frame for it to "run into".

Little guy must have not seen you...those things are very skittish. The back does seem to be the in focus part must have been standing still but moving its head a bit....
good catch just ned to adjust settings a bit I think.
