Hey there, this is my first attempt on night-light scene.
It is taken from a lake.
Please comment so that I can improve my shot.

For the "eye of Malaysia", I'm using a Nikon D40 kit.
the setting as below:

Exposure:	20 sec (20)
Aperture:	f/18
Focal Length:	18 mm
ISO Speed:	800
Exposure Bias:	2/3 EV

Thanks for sharing your camera setting. To my best knowledge with 20 secs of Exposure ISO 800 is too much. May be thats why u can see a glow around the subject. Anyway, great Job. Wish u best of Luck.

Very good night shot. Great reflection. Can you crop the photo to remove the tangent at the top of the photo? It would be nice to have a black sky framing the entire ferris wheel.

Is that so to crop it to have a better overview??
But I'm not so sure what you mean to crop out the tangen at the top of the picture.
Or would you mind to show me so that I can learn from you.

Do you see how the top to the ferris wheel is touching the upper edge of the photo? That's what I call a tangent. It's not a big deal, but would would be nice to have a bit of the black sky above the ferris wheel.

Like I said, it's not that distracting, it's a great photo...tc
