Ok so I am assuming that the white leaf smack in the middle of the frame is your intended subject. The big blurry leaf is very distracting to me. It really draws the eye away from the white leaf. Also the background is very busy and distracting as well. Might want to try moving the leaf to a different location to simplfy the image.

Avorim, Welcome

The background is good. It just acts more like a subject, which is distracting. Imagine you are on stage as an actor, and some talented carpenter/painter/electrician has constructed a backdrop that is big, bright and flashing. Will the audience be able to see the actor's performance as well? If you keep your colors, blurred and darkened, in the b/g, the whitish backside of your subject will stand out even more as you also keep the part behind it. You can have both; one needs to be in the limelight.
