Default Be critical....

I shot 2 beautiful girls on the weekend. Here's a sample for your critique.
Be harsh.
Thank you!

I know you are a fan of the negative space but I feel like this shot has just too much of it. I like the white space to the left of the model but I feel like there is too much negative space under the model. I would crop it to just under your signature. Other than that... Good lighting.. Her hair could be a bit neater perhaps... Also I am not too sure about the three blurry fingers on the couch? would like to either see the rest of her hand there or none at all. Also I dunno if I like the hair covering one of her eyes in this photo. I do like that look but for some reason it does not work for me in this photo.

Is that the back of a chair? It is a similar tone to her skin and that makes it distracting - at first glance, I though she had a huge Popeye-esqe forearm! A darker colour and less of it (perhaps crop to a square) would probably work better (and be easily to try out in rough).

Good call on the fingers.. I didn't even notice! LOL
I'll clone them out when I get home. I'll experiment with the crop as well.
Thank you!

Wulf, that is a chair, and maybe I should clone in a can of spinach in the background! LOL
I'll give a shot at changing the colour of the chair.
Thanks again

Gotta agree with Wulf on this one. I think the back of the chair is way too much.

I think with the right crop you have a really good portrait thou.

I thought the same thing, Wulf. As I was scrolling down, I was a bit shocked at how lovely the model was, and the arm that just seemed so out of place!
