This is another one of those in between focal lengths shots for me. It is not wide enough to give me a sense of how vastly large the scene was but not tight enough to give me point of interest. The image as it is now is very cluttered and there is nothing for the eye to focus on. Try wither a wider angle to capture the vastness of the scene or get closer to capture an individual subject.

PLNolan,

I can understand taking the photograph. The chill is there, the amount of snowfall clear. As RexK_Cozumel describes, though, a lack of a subject leaves me wondering which is the tree you like best? As with Autumn leaves shots of a thousand trees, we can appreciate the color and texture, but is that what you want? A little sunbeam would turn this into a more interesting view. Or some part of the clumps that looks like a face or an animal. Very well taken, worth more experimenting. And where is this?

I agree with what the others have said about the focal length. Otherwise I think this would be a great shot. I'd love to see this zoomed out some.
