I love the shallow DoF... but what really makes the shot for me are the few flakes of snow you can see on the blades of grass.

The only downside is that I wish the shot were a little lighter, maybe with the contrast higher. (But that may be partly due to the fact that the sun is blindingly laser-bright and piercing into my office right now, and thus my ability to judge brightness or contrast is perhaps not at its best.)

Did you actually find bread and milk? Because we got 1/2 inch here and the stores were sold out yesterday

I like this shot. I don't know what I would do to change it. Probably nothing

Woke to two inches and lots of closings and cancellations. Stopped by Publix yesterday for Veal Parmesan fixin's and half the bread and most of the milk was gone.

They still have toilet paper?
Bread & milk may be a southern thing, but here it's bread, milk and T.P.

Never a problem with southerners. We always have plenty of TP. Sam's Club is a blessing in that respect.

Default It took a while

It took a while - but eventually i really got into the shot. I liked the feel of the ice and looking at those spikes through the ice

I like the shot as well!

Nice job considering the conditions we had today. I tried taking some pictures and could never get anything as vibrantly colored as that.

I saw the title and got the reference right away. I like the contrast of the green with the snow in this shot.
