Default Sonar

Hello everyone.
I shot this a few days ago up in Half Moon Bay while waiting for the rest of my Marine Bio. class to arrive for some field trip where we dug for worms...
Anyways, I tried to go for somewhat of a minimalistic composition. I initially wanted to take a really long exposure, but with lack of proper filters for this lens, this was the best I could get.
Curious to hear your thoughts.
Thanks!

Default Nice!

A suitably gloomy shot for a suitably gloomy marine bio class!!

How are you liking the 10-22mm?? I"m thinking of getting one myself. Is it all that its hyped up to be?

I think maybe cropping the bottom off may help build a stonger view of the pier. Maybe. . . . . It seems to be well balanced at the mooment though.....

Did you find any worms?

Japaslavian,

Either way, croppng bottom or top to get horizon closer to thirds position, the right side could also be cropped to retain your aspect size, and would put end of pier at the vertical thirds position. Good shot.
