Default iStudy.

One of my first shots with my first DSLR. Actually my very first "all-manual" shot

I was totally bored while I was trying to study.

Canon 400D (Rebel XTi) w/ 18-55 kit lens
No PS except resizing and adding the border.

f/7,1
1/10
ISO1600

I know it's a bit noisy but the room was poorly lit and the cam was hand-held so ISO1600 + 1/10 sec was the best I could get.

Your critiques are really worthy for me because I'm a newbie

why f/7.1? you've got at least another full stop of aperture to play with there.

Is it really f/7.1? The aperture doesn't look that small to me =\

Well, you have to remember that DoF decreases the closer you focus.
