Default Roxy

Here's our new puppy Roxy:

This was taken with my 50mm 1.8 that I just got last night. I'm thrilled with it!

So what are your thoughts on this ?

Thanks!

Cute shot. Eyes could use a little light to add some sparkle. I, too, just got a 50mm 1.8 and am learning how to adjust after being so used to a variable focla length lens. 8-) I like its capabilities for available light indoors that the kit lenses (3.5-5.6) have a hard time with. I have read where other say the lens is noisy in auto focus but I only find that when focusing from close up to far away or vice versa. Once in a reasonable similar distance zone, the focus is quick and quiet. What have you found in that respect?
