I like it, but it's a little dark in my opinion.

Yeah, could use some contrast an lightening.
Nice framing too, dig the colors.

love the shot, composition looks good, but the colors - especially for fall - don't pop off the page like they should...a little tweaking would greatly improve this....

BridgeColorful

Messed with contrast and colors. If I have some free time I might mess with it some more.

Default Grain?

Even you though you shot it at ISO400 with a 300D, it seems to be very grainy? With the focal length and aperture as it is, I'm guessing you're shooting with the kit lens (with a max aperture of 5.6 at 55mm) perhaps a tripod and lower ISO may help with this?

One trick to try in PS or Lightroom is to drop the exposure (ie -0.3 or -0.6EV) and to bump up the saturation. Sometimes you can get better colours with that. . . .

Let me see how you go!

I think it's a bit too dark, also there seems to be quite a lot of noise. Did you pull up the highlights much to get this result, cause it looks like a single shot HDR tone mapping right now with this amount of noise.

Composition is really cool.

I think I brought the highlights up too far. In a few days I'll be shooting around my town again and I think I'll bring a tripod this time around. I also want to shoot the railroad at different times so the sky isn't as boring. Thanks for all the comments and advice.
