oooohhhh, I really like how you shot this piece! Love the rflection, love the lighting, maybe just a bit too much dead space above them tho

I wish I knew how to use the vanishing point filter a little better I would have extended the chess board off into the distance. I probably should have placed the peices somewhere else on the board to get a little more board in the shot going into the distance. I was more concered about lighinting last night since this is something I am working on improving. I can always go back tonight and try again.

My place is destroied looking for things to lift the glass table up so I could get a reflection from it them all sorts of lights clamped on to things and black clothes everywhere. It was fun

I think you were right on with the board. Any more would have diminished the chess pieces.

I had to chuckle at this one. My house always looks like a tornadoe went thru when i get an idea in my head. You are so right tho, it is fun

Murtasma, Great shot!
Reflections are great and the overall color of the shot I love.
I think maybe tweaking the baord abit to let the pawn reflect a little more on a clear square would help a bit. I don't think it needs anymore board in the shot either....just right.

I agree with the pawn perhaps I should have moved it right in front of the king but for some reason i coudln't force myself to because that would be a bad move LOL

nobody wants to play chess with me

Tornado in the house, hum? You are not the only one in this aspect when comes an idea

I prefer the first shoot. LOL!
The second one seems to me a bit overdone and the lights are not so....

I like the idea, but the frosted piece together with the clear piece...I don't know. The clear one is so sharp and the frosted one doesn't seem quite so. I like the idea and your choice of light, but I wonder what it would look like with two clear pieces or two frosted pieces.
