The picture is rather narrow. It looks like one you are trying to rescue by cropping out distracting elements but I don't think that quite works for two reasons:

(a) it would be more balanced if you were also cropped closer to the child's head, perhaps even losing the very top of the head

(b) you still have distractions like the hand coming in from the left and the hint of another hand at the bottom.

Also, the focal point seems a bit misplaced - it looks like it should have been about 6cm further back, highlighting the child's face. It might have been worth risking pushing the ISO to 800 in order to let you narrow the aperture another stop and get a wider depth of field.

All in all, it is okay but doesn't quite come together to be memorable (although someone who knows the child might have a different view).

The child's face looks just a tad out of focus? Ah, Wulf already pointed that out. I too think the narrow crop doesn't quite work. Adotrable child and great colors though.
