Ha!... I WAS READY WITH THE BIG "MODERATE" BUTTON!... Cute bears... i'd personally crop in a little tighter, but that's just me. [did a note in your flickr!] nice bears though... my niece would LOVE them

Thanks Sime, agree with your crop, I was really looking for C&C on the lighting.

The OH says to tell your nieces to keep their paws off the bears. She's had the top one for 60 years (called Sir Teds) and the other one is mine (only 49 years old, called lots of names, mostly obscene). The OH says he's the submissive one but really he's just subversive.

I quite like the side lighting you've got happening here, it really makes the bears look good! But as for that I personally find that the side lighitng coming from the left attracts my eyes to that side and so i they have very little room to move (casue the bear`is near the edge of the frame there. My suggestion is maybe try and light the bear from the other side so that your eyes are kind of drawn into the image. Anyways thats just my humble opinion. The other thin i want to say is that i realy like the dark background that you've got going here, it really makes the bears stand out, so i would also suggect trying to clone out the bright triangle in the bootom left of the image as i also find this ditracting.

But apeart from those minor niggles (hmm i think i just made up a word there) , great work!!

wonderful title you have here........it certainly made me think twice....

i personally like the lighting.....it gives a nice modeling to the bears and it's warm as all get out.....

i think you could have improved the staging somewhat as the foreground is distracting and sir teds has a vertical something growing out of his head.....

thanks for sharing...
