i think the 2 tree trunks on the right really make the shot. pretty leaves!

bigdoggold,

Good to see a closer view, a much appreciated representation of the seasonal change. Like a closeup portrait, it gives a more personal sense to the photo.

If you get higher branches with these colorful leaves too, the diagonal limbs may add a little interest, just because they're diagonal. Bright sunlight also would change the look, although this definately says "Fall." It's 40 degrees here this morning, so I'm feeling it.

I agree with jiminyClickit that it is nice to see a close up of the changing foliage. It really says that fall is here and winter is coming.

Natural Light to the left when looking that the photo...it was the "golden hour" when I shot this.
