Welcome thisbejonas

I've moved your thread from "How I took it" to "Critique my shot" because the How I took it forum is for more of an discussion about what process / settings you used to take a photo (read about it in the rules). For future critique threads, read the rules about those here. Ok, all the rules stuff is out of the way now

I really like the second shot as well. I love night photos in gardens that are lit up. I think that the composition of it is the most pleasing of all of them The first photo I would probably crop into something that is very similar to your second photo. I think that the third one has a lot of dark space to it, and the fourth one I kind of like, it's just that I like the second photo better.

i was just in san antonio a few weeks ago and tried this same shot with not nearly as good a result as you have.....i too, like the second image the best and i am truly impressed that you managed to cut through the crowds with a tripod in tow.....

thanks

Actually no tripod was used , it was like 3 AM so no crowds so I just went around the fence and walked right up to the waterfall and set my cam on a rock that wasnt to wet and then used the timer on my cam
