Default Old Barn

OK, this is my first request at feedback. I'm not quite happy with this shot, but my angles to shoot from were very limited. There's one particular thing that "bothers" me and I'm wondering if someone else feels the same. Thanks for your time.

i like the foggy feel and the way it toys with the colors.....taking them from rich to grey mist.....the horizontals are level and well place....

i'm trying hard to see what it is that you dislike about this shot....and it doesn't help that this is the only size available to view....but, i'm guessing it is the "addition on the right of the barn.....it isn't as aged as the rest of the structures and might be a good candidate for cloning.....

i hope this helps....

Nicely balanced shot. I agree with peeper's comments. What is it about the shot that is bothering you?

I think it's overall a good shot. But like Peeper noted, the house (?) in the background on the far right doesn't really belong. It also feels a little imbalanced to me. I'd crop off a little bit off the right side once I'd cloned out the structure on the right.

I don't really see anything wrong with this photo. I like the composition and the way the fog filter and mutes the colors. Try cropping the lower part of the picture, the berm.

I agree witht he others about the house by the barn. It just doesnt fit. I'm looking forward to hearing what bothers you about this pic.

Great feedback, I do appreciate it. It was mainly the balance I was concerned about, it seemed a little off. In order to include more foreground which I think helped the balance, I had to include the newer building on the right that was mentioned.

I'm not familiar with the clone process as I typically only do basic editing but I think I'll play with it.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions! I'll go play with it some and see what I can do.

That little bit of the tree that's cut off takes away from the picture in my opinion. It's a great picture, but that would be better if it were either more cut off or not at all. And yes, the structure on the right doesn't "fit". I love the fog!

Default I agree with the others

the house to the right is out of place. And the bright white on the gable end of the barn roof is a little distracting. I would crop that end of the barn and put the emphysis on the out building to the left. That said, I love barns and this is a great barn pic.

OK, I re-cropped it using the feedback. At least I think I did. :-)
Feel free to edit and repost.

Thanks again.
