Default Medieval Castle

Well, it's an aquaruim tower built in 2002, designed as if it was a medieval castle.
Loch Lomond Aquarium

When I copied the image on my PC first thing that crossed my mind was that this might have looked better in landscape. Your openion please!

Thanks,

I always think about what I should have done when I get the pictures home and on a bigger screen. I also have trouble figuring out the best cropping as well.

I like the texture in the wall which you would have missed if done in landscape. So you could have focussed more on the wall aspect or cropped with more landscape to the side.

Looks like an interesting place.

Nice shot. I would favor cropping more off the left side of the image so that the blue sky doesn't tend to balance the mass of the wall so much. Make the wall the main thing.

Thanks for the comments, guys!

I cropped the image to 2:3 fixed aspect ratio and now there is less of the sky. Looks much better.

Hi peeperita, thanks. In Lighroom I adjusted the clarity and vibrance slider to add a bit of punch. I love these two features in Lightroom.
