Hi and welcome to the group. Time exposures such as this can offer some interesting results. Did you try some at a longer exposure time to pick up a little more ambient city light? The larger amount of dark space tends to take the image down as a whole. Having more red streaks towards the central part of the image may have helped balance the dark a bit better.

Exclamation

i post processed this image a bit i reduced the red colour a bit caused by the street lamps and darkened the sky a bit,i thought it will be better this way,do you think that i should have changed the white balance of the picture to show the yellow lamps show white?

I think your color is OK. My thought was to have more/longer traces of red lamps in the dark area towards the center. Being able to see a bit of the skyline may help as well. First impression was that there was too much "black." Like garlic, a little black goes a long way. 8-) Success with time exposures like this is sometimes a matter of luck with getting the right amount of "light streaks" in the shot as well as having a surrounding that balances the rest of the image.

I love the shots like this. Very nice though I'm not a good person to give suggestions. But I did want to tell you welcome!
