![]() I had trouble getting the exposure correct. The shadows on the trees on the upper left seem to dark to me. Do you think the trees on the left are too dark? Any other suggestions would be appreciated

Trees on the right... too dark??? I think you are talking about the trees just to the left of center. Anyways it looks ok to me. There is not really much you can do to brighten those up with out blowing out the rest of the frame as far as in camera. Now with post work you can attempt to fix it but I dont think it is that big of a problem to begins with. Also HDR would fix it as well but again I think the photo is good as is so I would be reluctant to mess with it.
I do feel like something is missing from the photo however.. I think a panoramic of this scene would be awsome. Good lighting in the photo but it feels cropped for some reason.
