Default Skate Merge

Hey, got a sequence of my friend the other day but instead of making it in three frames or GIF'ing it I experimented with this. Critique Away.

Nice work! What software did you use to combine the images? Please tell us how you went about shooting this sequence.
My only criticism is that you have a very nice action sequence but the surroundings could have used a bit of attention to detail such as reframing to eliminate the barrel or move it briefly. Check out the background. If the sign doesn't add value to the photo, reframe and eliminate it. People tend to be attracted to and read words and text in photos, distracting them from the subject. The colors of the skateboarder's shirt work well with the warm ones of the wooden bench and brick wall.

The third shot where he's supposed to be on the ledge isn't in the right location. You have his wheel IN the ledge. It'd be nice to see him land it too.

The colors look great and this is cool idea. Can't wait for the next one.

Besides what has already been said, I would try not to have him cover himself. But this is pretty well done.

The middle image looks ok to me. The third one with him on the bench looks like a "Photoshop" addition, particularly where the foot and board meet the bench. That area really jumps out at me as being inserted. I think it is because there are no shadows there when it appears that there should be based on the lighting. Maybe try feathering the edge or using a gauasian blur to blend it to the base image better.

What kind of camera do you have? Some cameras let you take multiple exposure shots. Using the continuous shooting mode and a tripod can get some interesting pictures like this.
