My Cat

I warmed it up in Light Room and played with the curves a bit in PS. I really can't stand the cat though. It's seriously the most unfeeling and unloving creature that I've ever come across. It doesn't like sitting on laps, being picked up, or even being pet. The only time you can really approach her is when she's trying to sleep, which would explain how I got this shot.

Sorry to hear that your kitty is unfriendly...

...but despite that fact, you really pulled off a stellar shot here! Excellent, excellent lighting, accented by the powerful lines and shadows. The colors are nicely warm and the green plant adds a touch of color contrast and some nice framing.

My eye is a little distracted by the dark vertical line rising next to the blinds on the left. I also find myself wishing that all the blinds were receiving the same amount and color of light...a couple are off. But that's really picky. All in all, great shot! I love cats and this is a wonderful capture!
