Lee,
Great concept! I love photos with an 'odd man out' so to speak. Your title is perfect!!! I like the composition, with your central subject (white pumpkin) off-centered and near the bottom. It allows my eye to follow the orange pumpkins upwards giving the feeling of never-ending pumpkins! I also like the bright lighting, but I do catch myself wondering if it is to bright. A couple of spots on some pumpkins are blown out. Did you play with the lighting at all in post-processing? Thanks for providing your exif, it was useful. Out of curiosity, why did you use a flash? Great image! I like it a lot!

Good composition overall. I'm not sure about the pumpking peeking out at the lower left though. You might want to clone that out.
I think what would make this even more interesting was if you gave it some more halloween spirit. Underexpose it, give it some grain, a vignette, play with the light, maybe even make the odd man out have a face and be a jack o' lantern but you'd probably have to reshoot and plan that. It could look really great as a night shot with the candlelight coming out of the face. That with this composition could make a great halloween photo as a mood piece.

I like it. I like the off centre position of the albino pumpkin but agree with Teewinot that it may be a little bright.

Thanks for your kind words. I had the flash left on from some earlier shots I had done with kids selecting pumpkins since I was shooting into the sun. I thought it might help to fill in some of the shadow side of the pumpkins for this shot. The only post processing I did was to crop out some people who were standing nearby. I agree that the highlights are a bit too hot coming off the pumpkins.

Thanks for your kind words. Photoshop is one of my weak areas. Any suggestions as to how to bring down highlights in a shot such as this? I am working with PS 7.0. I'll be happy to give it a try.
