Default local "skyscrapers"

I've been walking around the city once again, and i thought this might look pretty good. To be honest i don't really remember the exact parametres which i used, but it was somewhere around: f5, exposure 350, iso 640. Did a little bit of a contrast edit with photoshop, but not too much.

My eye is led into the frame by the bridge, which carries me to the blue tinted building just right of the center. The more I view it the more I feel an abstract quality about it. To that end, if the tiny detail bits were blended with their surroundings, they would compete less with the masses around them. I am curious to know what you initially saw when you thought about capturing this with your camera.

i really liked the reflection of the sky in the building. It made the glass look very bright and saturated.
