WOW. Really cool shot. I especially like the way it looks like "the little monster" is pointing towards itself. But you might look for some different crops, just how it looks like.

For a little guy he/she sure looks menacing. Great capture. Excellent title. I think the focus is good as well as the DOF. Like dande said you might want to try some different croppings just to see what happens

Great shot! Whisker-sharp. 8-) The kind of shot we all wish we had in our collection.

Great shot! I hope I get a shot like that some day! I'm still a beginner, but since this was posted in critique my shot, I'm going to try to offer a few small humble suggestions.

It's just a little off in terms of the vertical lines. Consider straightening them.

Try to possibly remove the chromatic noise or change it the luminance noise. Some people believe that noise adds character to a picture and to some extent I think that's true. However, chromatic noise can distract you from the subject and I feel that noise can flatten an image like yours that has captured the layers so well.

Lasty; do you think that small crops might knock it out of the park?

I have nothing to add to what others have said, except my compliments--great sharpness, DOF, and expression on the little guy's face.

do you think I should crop it closer? I already croped it from the original but thought it was close enough. As for the noise removal I will give that a try even though I dont know much about it. Thank you for the help.

Default I thought it was a cropped shot!!!!

I checked your exif data and your focal length was 68mm. I thought either this guy's really game, or that's some monster zoom!!!!

Congrats though, because that photo is really sharp!!!

Hi Todd - just small crops; may I have the liberty of making some small edits to the original? Keep in mind that this is all subjective and you've done an excellent job on this already. As for noise - I've played around with the demo for Noise Ninja, and it works magic!
