Default A Reflection of Me

I took this shot when I was on Vacation last month in New Brunswick Canada. I really enjoy the near perfect reflection of my son. I was surprised to see the reflection though because I was using a circular polarizer, that said I am glad its there.

What does everyone think and suggestion? Also does anyone know why there was the reflection even with the polarizer?

The real question is not whether you used a CPL but if you used it correctly.. Did you turn the CPL till the reflection disappeared before you took the shot? I am guessing that you did not. Just putting a CPL on your lens does not mean that automatically any glare/reflections are going to be eliminated.

That being said this is a really good shot. only thing I would change is to clone out that dark colored patch in the background in the top right corner. but that is really just nit picking.

Good eye for capturing both the action and the reflection. Just for fun flip the image from left to right and see if it has a different impact with respect to keeping you eye in the frame longer. Nice work!

If you were using the polarizer incorrectly, all I can say is I wish my mistakes came out so well.

Your right, I am sure that I didn't adjust my cpl from the previous shot. But I must say that I am glad I didn't adjust it.

i love it! great capture, exposure, and color. for fun, try flipping the image 180*. makes the viewer look a little harder
