Default Fly

To crop or not to crop - thats the question.
What do you think? Better framing or more detail?

I also lean towards preferring the second version; the red areas add colour but are so far apart that the main subject ends up too small.

Wulf

ps. 600px max width for images please

Yep, definitely the crop. It gives it much more of a macro feel.

I prefer the first frame actually. I like the red and what it does to the fly...I also like the lines in the first frame. The second crop is good as a macro shot, but it's not as interesting to me.

Wink Best of both worlds!

It's a sloppy cloning job, but you get the idea . . .

No offense but I still like it just as the fly. I think the red edges take away from it
