Default Beautiful Autumn Colors

Some trees in pretty colors at Letchworth. May be a bit oversharpened.

I'm very new to post-production, so I can't comment with any authority on whether it is over sharpened, but you sure captured great colors! I am envious, as I was hoping to get some fall foliage shots around Chicago here, and this past weekend was supposed to be our peak, but we've had some oddly warm weather and the colors haven't changed as quickly as they should have. I'm leaving out of town for a week and by the time I get back, they'll likely be all changed and fallen!

Congrats on your great timing

chelle7575,

Know what? Part of what did not grab me in your first few posts is . . . I see this every day! Not fair, I know. But it's true the unexpected, unfamiliar, unusual shots will be most attractive.

There may be one tree in this group that is misshapened, lightening-struck, critter-inhabited, so different from all the rest that its photo would have gotten a lot more attention. This is a case of "can't see the tree for the forest." Too many subjects causes eye fatigue, and we go on to something else.

Also there may be something set on your camera that's giving a consistent yellowish hue to most of your posts so far. If you can post some information about camera, settings, weather conditions with each of your posts, it may encourage the folks who live and breath technical stuff to suggest changes in your hardware.
