Default Party time!

My daughter had a sleepover for her 11th birthday and this was their "project"! They really loved making them and I really like this photo. It just seems to capture the moment (for me anyway! ) I would like your feedback on it. Thanks ahead of time!party time!

I think it's a cute scrapbook picture, and would be wonderful if added to a page with your daughter and friends making their crafts.

Thanks James! I thought that too. Sometimes I am into just getting the picture to have a picture. Other times I am out for the best picture that I can get. This was just getting the picture. I really wasn't in the mood and I was very busy keeping them busy! heheheh. But, since it will be important to her I posted this to see if it could be improved (after all it's not her fault my mind was on dinner and do NOT get paint on the floor!) I think I will be cleaning glitter for a year! My bad.

kelly,

You're right about different levels of importance. One thing that you can include in all your photos, though, is clarity. Not focus, but a clear indication of what you are representing in your image. The photo does not immediately say "totebag" or "11th birthday." In a group of album photos, it will be fine. As a memory jogger for you and daughter, it's perfect. Now how would you shoot it if you couldn't use words, but still wanted to convey "11th birthday, totebag project fun?"
