To be perfectly honest I think I would clone out the lamp and send the focus to the architecture. It really is where my eyes go anyways...the lamp just breaks up the building.
I really like the light on the side of the building too. Looks like suns about to set.....

I agree with Pinball. The lamp is to small to be a point of interest. The buildings just dwarf it out. If you wanted the lamp to be the focus, I'd suggest you get closer.

If it wasn't for the satellite dish and TV antennas this photo would have even more appeal to me, as it'd feel kind of old fashioned.

good news is its all fixable and the lamp is in a great place to clone out....I would also add some dramatics to the sky....
Is this a place you can reshoot Zemaria?

Completely agreed. The first thing I thought when I looked at this was "Wow, what an interesting building with great lighting". The wires, cables, etc. just distract. I also agree that the light is too small to be the subject of this photo. I actually had to search for it after reading your title. This is beautiful architecture, though, and I'd love to see an edit and/or reshoot.

Excellent setting. My first reaction was "clothesline" before I saw the lamp. Perhaps a dusk shot after the lamp has been illuminated may feature it better.

Welcome to the forum!
Very interesting architecture! I save "sky" photos just for backgrounds in otherwise "great photo, boring sky" shots. Here's what I might do with this particular photo:

Default Sunlit street light

I like the all the edits excepts for the clouds. It now looks like the building is on fire.

Maybe it was the flame thrower I used on the satellite dish...LOL. You're right tho'! I'll re-title that sky shot from Sunset, to Fire Effects!!!

Default Lamp chimney?

I agree the lamp has to go, it looks like it has a chimney. Other wise great shot.
