Default Eifel Tower/Vegas

I am a newbie and this is my first post. I would love to have any and all input on this photo. It was taken with Kodak Easy Share camera. I am interesting in improving my skills and have just recently purchased a Nikon D40x. Thanks for looking.

You have a good eye for composition! It's an interesting angle, yet the tower part is centered

I'd suggest to slightly increase the brightness. But not too much so you don't loose the dramatic look of the image.

Hi and welcome. I think this is a striking angle against the sky. Is this the original sky or was it modified in any way in post-processing. If the tip of the tower ended at the 1/3-1/3 point on the frame, the composition would be a bit stronger as Klaidas pointed out.

No, this photo has not been modified in any way. I appreciate your input. I will play around with cropping this photo to see if I can get the tip of the tower at th e 1/3-13 point and see what I have. Thank you for your input.

I cropped the photo and tried to put the tip of the tower 1/3 1/3 position. I also slightly brightened the photo. Let me know what you think.

I also tried another edit by adjusting the shadows and came up with this:

Thanks for going the extra mile and reworking the photos. I think they are stronger images than the first cut. My preference is for the first one with the less 'threatening' sky.
