the exposure in this shot is appealing to me because i gravitate to the darker images....

i know that the depth of field is intentional, but, i think....and this my opinion only....that the overlapping foreground lamp is troublesome.....maybe, some space between it and the in focus lamp would help.....

It does have a certain abstract quality about it. Perhaps a little too much out of focus for my taste but may look better in print. I am curious why you used "Spot" metering in this case and where you took your reading. This is a tough one for any sort of auto metering and I agree with your bracketing to close in on the best exposure.

Thanks for the advise, I posted another photo and it worked well. I got the file size too large but I think I just need to resize before I start to post the photo.

Yeah I love this a lot. It has great DOF, which in itself is worthy of praise, but in addition, you played with the colors too: the yellow and the blue go together really well and create a very soothing atmosphere, along with the old lights which add more calmness and authenticity.

wow my english courses have me analyze anything these days....great shot though. I really love it.

You know you are a photography nerd when you spell "Stop" with an "F"

You mentioned playing with the colors, it is just the way it came out of the camera. I did pick from 3 shoots but they were just different DOF.
