Convinced her to let me take a couple of brief shots.

I don't have anything bad to say; well done.

Let me work on that. The Exif must have gotten lost in resizing and uploading. I would have like for a sharper picture too. I used Picasa - but Picasa sharpening, as good as it looks, doesn't always save. This one it didn't save. I'm still trying to convince the program otherwise. ;-)

I'll get that EXIF data and post it soon.

Nice photo, psykon99! It's sharp enough and is a great picture. If I were to nitpick, just for the sake of providing at least one criticism, I would say that the dress on her right shoulder is a bit bright and might be considered a bit of a distraction. But like I said, I'm *looking* for something. I think it's a fantastic and interesting shot as it is here. Has she seen it?

No. I don't even have a clue who she is. While I grew up in Marengo, I only visit there now - albeit on a near weekly basis. I suppose I could find out...

I agree with Robin the photo is fantastic. Only things that would make it better would be if there was some catch light in her eyes to add a little life and tone down the dress a little it is so bright white that it draws the eye. But that is just nit picking really. You shoudl find out who she is and send her a copy of the photo. I am sure she would appreciate it as it is a very nice photo.

Make her a print and give it to her as a gift for posing. She'll show it to people and they'll know you take a nice picture. Just make sure your name and email address are printed on the back!
