Default Man With Beard

I have no idea who this is, but I saw him on the street at a festival the other day. There were all kinds of people between us - so I just took the shot while I could. Wish I coulda found out more about him. Seems like an interesting fellow.

Thoughts?

A very interesting face indeed, its a lovely portrait with hotspots in the eyes. I have always enjoyed wrinkled faces and ong beards. Did you try this on sepia?

He's actually watching a children's entertainer performing in the middle of the street. He [the entertainer] was quite amusing. I think you can see that in his [the bearded man] eyes and expression.

Great character study! Thanks for sharing the image and the story behind it.

No, I haven't tried it on Sepia, but I am thinking of warming up the black and white a little bit more before printing. The image isn't as sharp as I'd like it to be. I've found if I use Picasa to warm up the black and white, it makes the picture look older - thus making the lack in sharpness acceptable, as if taken with an older style camera.

Was this picture taken along with Miss Settler? The two photos, maybe with a couple of other shots would make a great collection marking the event.

Yes, it most certainly was! Good idea... Now how could I get an audience?

Put them together with a little blurb and hang them somewhere! Who put the event on?
