Default My Favorite Weeping Willow

This tree is at the church I go to. I've always loved it. I was really trying to pick up the personality of the tree in this shot, and I think I was pretty successful. There's a bit of movement throughout the body of the branches. I only wish the sky was a little darker.

Thoughts?

Maybe a circular polarizer could have helped w/ the sky? I'm not sure.

I think offsetting the tree to the right a little more would help.

Overall, I like it.

I wish there was a bit more light on the tree and the top was not cropped.

Thanks for the replies all! I too would have liked to have the tree a little more to the right and not have cropped the top - however - when you go out wider, a row of trees on the left side becomes apparent, and they're actually very distracting from the weeping willow as the main subject and the house in the background as suboordinate subject. I do have a wider angle version, and I just didn't care for it.

What about cropping the wide angle version to leave the top of the tree but get rid of the distracting elements it may include? Nice shot, I like the desaturated look.

i think it would be a lot more powerful if the top/bottom of the tree wasn't cut off.
