Default Moving Target

I was finally able to catch this little gal behind her rocking chair.

I love the expression! What was she looking at? While I was viewing your photo my ten year old came in and said "that's a cool picture!" I have to agree!

Grandma and Mom were off to the side. I tried having her sit on the chair, but she was into having me chase her.

It feels a bit grainy to me but maybe I'm imagining things.

Great capture! Can you tell me what is providing the catchlights in her eyes? Did you use any flash fill or is it coming from a nearby window? You may want to try shooting with the lens stopped down a stop or two as the 1.8 has limited depth of field wide open. What was your ISO for the 1/40 sec at 1.8?

Lee, I was set at ISO 100 and should have changed. She was in the middle of a sunny room. I did shoot some others at a larger dof, but I just liked this shot.
