Default Dolphins

Got these guys this weekend on our cruise. I was 8 decks up and used my 18-55mm lens. I could not change to the 55-200mm fast enough. No I wish I had bought the 18-200mm.

I think you got a nice documentary shot to remember the day. You also did well to capture them out of the water. How much leeway do you have to play with cropping so that there is a littleless sea space? Exposure and sharpness look great!

Thanks for taking the time to recrop. Although they are still small I think you have a nicely balanced photo. Just for fun, try flipping the image from left to right to see if it makes a visual impact difference. As they are now, your eye reads from left to right and their direction carries you out the right side of the frame. Just something to think about.
